本アルバム「BÉNIN RIO TOKYO」は米伯日各国のスーパー ギタリスト、リオネル・ルエケ、トニーニョ・オルタ、馬場孝喜と共演し、彼女の歌と声そしてギターだけで構成された珠玉の作品。Nobie自身のオリジナル“The Sun”、リオネルのオリジナル、60年代南アフリカのミリアム・マケバの世界的ヒット“パタパタ”、トニーニョの名曲“ベイジョ・パルチード”、ヴォイスだけの多重録音によるデイヴ・ブルーベックの“トルコ風ブルーロンド”、矢野顕子の“ごはんができたよ”他全8曲収録。

“I had a bless recording with Nobie. She is definitely one of my favorite singers because she is not afraid to explore new territories. She’s not a singer who stays in her comfort zone and there are no boundaries to what she can do.
That’s the type of musician I love to play with because only in unknown zone is where the magic can really happen.
Nobie on top of that has a very good sense of rhythm, sings in tune and phrases like a horn.
